Intern experiences

Well, here it is finally. My first attempt at blogging. Before starting, I have kept a certain set of restrictions on me.
1. Even though I try a lot to be funny all my life, my posts would be either meaningful, serious and maybe useful for others.
2. I would be posting all my major learning stuff, links that I found to be useful, et al. Interested junta can use them.
3. Geez, I think the abv 2 are enough ....

So here goes nothing...

I couldn't believe my eyes . It had to be somewhere. I searched for it but it was nowhere to be found. And then reality of what had just happened descended upon me as heavily as lightning strikes down a lonely tree. My body went numb. Emotions came thick and fast and I was swept away in their turbulent torrents. Admonished by parents, smirked at by friends, I was falling into a depression that seemed endless.....

My intern at yesbank. well, intern can be a really cool thing to do when u like what u r doing, when the boss's good, when the company (in both the senses) is good. Fortunately, i had an intern with most of the above aspects. The intern started off well. The boss was a cool guy, the net was fast and the ppl online were many. Though i did work a lot, i also thoroughly enjoyed it. the part i hated was only the evenings alone at home. That was the only time i think in my whole life that i wished, "hey dude, wish i had a gf or at least a friend with me".[:{] ...

The first half of my project was related mostly to agriculture. A maths project in agriculture .. people scoffed at me, but believe me , now after nearly finishing that part i feel that this was very important. It taught me flexibility at work and i'll remember this throughout my career. I made a draft report on wheat and my boss was pretty impressed with it. I worked on the restof the report - rice, cereals, oilseeds, meat and F&V. I was nearing the end in most of them. And then disaster struck.

The euro '08 was going on. The Turks beat the croats- a game with goals in the 119' and 122'. I had just downloaded the highlights onto my lappy's desktop. I was transferring them into another folder. Hmm, whats this?? Oh my intern files ... Hey how could these things be in a folder named Euro '08\Tukey-Croatia!!! I deleted them ... WHATT !! oh my god ... Ctrl+Z .. Ctrl+Z ... NOooooooooooooo ....
